Putt Break turns your iPhone into a green reader. Lay the phone flat on the green, perpendicular to your line, and it measures the slope with the phone's motion sensors and computes exactly how much your putt will break — from first-principles physics, based on green speed and distance.

The app reads your phone's motion sensors only on your device to measure slope. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, location, or usage data. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no third-party analytics. A calibration setting you choose is stored locally on your device only.

Putt Break is a practice and casual-play tool. Using a device to read greens is not permitted during a stipulated round under the Rules of Golf (Rule 4.3), so please keep it off the course in competition.
